Mobile Messaging for Men, M-cubed is a research project taking place in Atlanta, GA, New York City, NY, and Detroit, MI. The purpose of this project is to test a smartphone app designed to deliver sexual health messages to men. Only men who are enrolled as participants in the study can access the M-cubed app.

Why do we get personal?
Sometimes the app may ask you some personal questions. These are important questions to ask in order for the app to help you best manage your sexual health. Because this is a research study, we do have access to information that you put into the app, but all of this information is kept confidential. None of the information that you share will be linked to any identifying information you provide. That means your name, email, and phone number are kept separate from the rest of your information. Information you provide may be shared, but only after de-identifying and only through a secure network. All information is stored in secure, password-protected documents. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us at [email protected].

Who are we?
We are a team of researchers at Emory University in Atlanta, GA, University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI, Public Health Solutions in New York City, NY, and at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta, GA. The principal investigator is Dr. Patrick Sullivan at Emory University. Ryan Zahn (at Emory) is the project coordinator. He will be your point of contact if you have any questions.
